Kitchen Cabinets

If you are installing new kitchen cabinets or remodeling an older one, RTA (ready to assemble) is the way to achieve your goal.  RTA kitchen cabinets are value oriented (economical and can fit in your budget) yet can be just as beautiful as custom cabinets or semi-custom cabinets. You can incorporate a new, beautiful style of RTA cabinets in a very budget friendly way.

One of the primary reasons to buy RTA kitchen cabinets is the budget friendly cost.  The cabinets can be shipped directly to your home or to the nearest common carrier truck terminal.  Usually there is an extra charge to deliver to a neighborhood or residential address.  Sometimes a semi-trailer lift gate is required and that cost extra.  However at the end of the day you have saved a lot of money.

You need to keep in mind that these cabinets must be assembled and installed.  Plenty of instructions are readily available.  It is very helpful if the DIY or contractor person doing this is handy with a hammer and screwdriver even though they can be put together with a low degree of difficulty.  Most RTA cabinets come complete with everything in the box including hinges, screws, drawer slides and supports for the drawer slides.  Usually the doors are predrilled for the door hinges for a perfect fit.  Some people go a little further for additional soundness and use wood glue and some screws.  If you choose to use some screws, it is good to have a drill to use along with the screwdriver.

RTA cabinets offer convenience in that they can be delivered in 7-14 business days. Much less damage in transit the assembled cabinets. They also offer several door styles and colors.  Usually you can find everything you need to be readily available including all the fillers and trim.  Many accessories are also available to include Corbels, Crown molding, etc.  The drawer boxes usually can be upgraded from epoxy (basic and standard) glides to full extension stainless steel, ball bearing units.  Also soft closing doors and drawers are available with most choices.  So it means you can do the RTA cabinets just the way you want as all cabinets come in 3 inch increments starting with 9 inches wide.  They go up 3 inches at the time to 12”, 15”, 18” etc.  All the way up as high as 60” for some cabinets.

RTA kitchen cabinets is your best choice if you are on a budget or just plain like to save money.  Custom and Semi-Custom can get very expensive.  You can achieve the same look for a lot less money.  Call for more design help and ask all the questions you have so that you are comfortable in making a purchase on line.
