Return/Cancellation Policy

RTA Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinets: RTA cabinets may be returned within 14 days of receiving the product. Customers wishing to return items will be responsible for a 25% restocking fee and the shipping cost to send the products back to the warehouse. The products must be returned in the original packaging and in good condition.

To process a claim, email us at claims@greatbuycabinets.com with your reason for return and the specific SKU of the item(s) you would like to return. We will then provide you with a shipping label and details.

In order for you to receive credit, you must receive authorization from us prior to shipping out the return. Once the warehouse receives the return item, we will inspect it for damages. Please note that your credit will be given up to 7 days after the returned items arrive at the warehouse for inspection. If everything is intact, we will then issue the credit to your account minus the 25% restocking fee. Please also note original shipping cost will not be refunded and if the order qualified for free shipping, the actual freight cost that Great Buy Cabinets paid for the delivery will be deducted from any applicable credits.

Cancel order: You will have 24 hours to cancel orders without subject to penalties. After 24 hours, you will be charged a 25% restocking fee.

Assembled Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinets: Assembled Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinets cannot be returned for any reason due to our manufacturer’s policies. For this reason, it is important to check all measurements prior to ordering to ensure you are ordering the correct pieces. If an assembled item is damaged, it will be replaced for the same item only.

NOTICE: Mandatory Receiving Requirements

Mandatory steps for receiving a shipment from Great Buy Cabinets

Step 1: Check skid and loose piece count on Bill of Lading(BOL)/Delivery Receipt(DR), and match it to the actual amount of skids and loose pieces on the pallet.

Step 2: Visually check pallet for damage.

If the boxes appear to be damaged....

*****Take close up and wide angle shots of the damage*****

Step 3: Check packing slip (located on shrink-wrap of pallet) against the actual items on the pallet. Item numbers are located on the outside of each box.

Step 4: Make appropriate notes on the BOL/DR.

If something appears to be missing.......

Make a note on all copies of the BOL/DR that lists the items that are missing.

If there appears to be damage to the product or the boxes

Make a note on all copies of the BOL/DR that says the following: “Box Damage/Product Damage”

** If these notes are not documented on the BOL/DR WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FILE A CLAIM AND YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RE-PURCHASING DAMAGED MERCHANDISE **

Step 5: Sign Bill of Lading(BOL)/Delivery Receipt(DR). Keep one copy and save it for future reference if needed.

Step 6: Pictures of any damaged product and packaging are required. Send pictures to Claims@greatbuycabinets.com

Note:

  1. Parts must be requested at the time of inspection, not after the cabinet has been assembled. Concealed and Freight damage warranty claims must be reported within 15 business days of receiving the product.
  2. Only 1 replacement claim can be submitted for each order, so please have all of that information on the same request.
  3. We cannot provide freight damage replacement parts at no charge if you do not write “Box Damage/Product Damage” on the BOL/DR.
  4. We cannot replace missing items if they are not noted on BOL/DR.

IMPORTANT

The driver cannot leave until you have signed the BOL/DR – take the time and get it right as quickly as possible. If the driver leaves your dock and you have signed the BOL/DR with no additional notes, you are stating that everything on your order is received in full and in good/acceptable condition! Claims made beyond this point will be subject to additional charges. See our Dealer Catalog for questions pertaining to Warranty issues.

If the driver should refuse to wait for you to check the packing slip against the delivered items make the following notes on all copies of the bill of lading:" Driver refused to allow the time for me to check to make sure all items were on the pallet"

Missing or Damaged Items: (Including Concealed Damage):

Freight claims for obvious damage or shortage can only be accepted when indicated on the bill of lading. Freight damage claims must be filed within 30 days. No claims will be allowed without the proper paperwork.

Concealed damage, any damage discovered upon opening the packages, needs to be filed as soon as possible in the same manner.
